A Fresh, Inviting Exterior

The Tyla’s soft green façade couldn’t be more perfect for spring. The shade is Wattyl Westerly. It’s fresh, calming, and looks amazing alongside a refreshed garden bed. In Perth early spring is the best time to prune, so it’s a great excuse to show your garden some love.

Tip: Add a layer of mulch to keep things hydrated, and give the exterior of your home a quick brush-down every now and then to keep that paint and cladding looking crisp and clean (goodbye spider-webs).

Artwork That Brings Joy

The artwork throughout the Tyla display brings a fun, summery vibe (think palm trees, bright fruits, and sunshine tones of soft yellow, pink, and sage). It’s the perfect match for spring and embraces Perth’s sunny climate.

Tip: Looking to make a statement? A gallery wall is an easy way to turn a plain surface into a total showstopper. Also, Tarina suggests keeping larger furniture pieces neutral and switching up your art or accent colours seasonally for an effortless refresh that always feels new, without breaking the bank.

Accessorise With Colour

Once the artwork is chosen, it’s all about pulling those colours through the rest of the styling. A few simple décor pieces like cushions, vases, or throws can tie everything together beautifully and are easy to swap out whenever it’s time for a change. Shapes play a big role too think marble links, sculptural vases, or playful 3D pieces that echo the curves and tones in the artwork.

Tip: Don’t overlook budget friendly finds! The Openook Scalloped Wing Ceramic Vases shown above are from BIG W and cost just $10–$13, proof that great style doesn’t have to come with a big price tag.

Dining Space: Fresh, Soft & Inviting

With sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains, the dining area feels bright, fresh, and effortlessly welcoming. The sage IKEA KARLPETTER chairs tie in beautifully with the home’s soft green accents and look right at home alongside the natural timber tones. At just $89 each, they’re a simple way to add a pop of colour and style. Plus, the easy-care fabric makes them super practical (just a quick spot clean when needed!).

Tip: For the finishing touch, a pared-back centrepiece like a single vase filled with seasonal blooms keeps the space feeling calm, elegant, and perfectly balanced. So, pop down to your local florist or farmers market for that perfect bunch.

Guest Bedroom: Mix, Match & Play

In the guest bedroom, a bold striped quilt cover is paired with a fun floral cushion for a fresh, spring ready look. This playful mix and match style works beautifully when patterns share a common colour! A sunlit bench seat adds the perfect spot to slip on your shoes before heading out the door.

Tip: For an easy way to add interest and tie the room together, feature paint is your best friend, in this room we used Wattyl Sea Mineral on two main walls to subtly connect back to the home’s soft green palette.

Florals Inside & Out

Bring a touch of the outdoor, indoors with fresh or faux blooms even a single statement vase filled with greenery from your own backyard can give your space an instant seasonal lift. For something that lasts a little longer, like the artificial hydrangeas in the master bedroom add softness all year round without the fuss of weekly upkeep.

Tip: Choose florals or foliage that pop against their backdrop such as whites and creams look stunning against darker walls, while vibrant greens and colourful bouquets really shine against a crisp white wall. It’s a simple way to add balance.

A Dreamy Girls’ Room

The girls’ bedroom feels light, fresh, and full of charm! The watercolour floral wallpaper creates a delicate backdrop, while the blush arch headboard adds a playful, modern touch that ties in perfectly with the rainbow artwork and scallop shelves. We love the soft textures of the bedding to create whimsy.

Tip: To balance it all out, adding the darker teal floral sheets add just the right amount of contrast, grounding the look and giving the space a slightly more grown-up feel.

Outdoor Living Made Easy

As the days get warmer and sunnier, the alfresco area quickly becomes the go-to spot. Whether it’s for a quiet morning coffee or an afternoon catch-up with friends and family. If space is limited, a high bar table with stools that tuck neatly underneath is a clever way to make the most of a smaller area, creating a casual yet inviting place to gather.

Tip: For a more chilled vibe, a pair of occasional chairs can transform the space into a cosy retreat perfect for enjoying a good book, your favourite drink in the afternoon sunlight.
