Meet Luke and Candice. Our happy #homesweethomebuyers are building one of our most popular home designs, the Lincoln. This spacious home has it all! 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with plenty of space to grow and enjoy for years to come. And we bet Luke and Candice’s five kids will love movie nights in their new theatre room.
We were so excited when we finally go to hand over the keys to this stunning home. With saving to start their journey towards their new home something they previously thought was not possible, it’s a moment Luke and Candice have been waiting for over two years. We make first homes happen however we can. So we couldn’t be more thrilled to have completed their home and allow their new home journey to really begin.
We first met Luke and Candice in May of 2018. Looking to build a home for their family. They contacted Homebuyers Centre and were put in touch with our Senior New Homes Consultant, Mark Chapman. As an avid West Coast Eagles fan, Chappy (as he’s known around the office) was excited to work with fellow supporters. They spent time finding the perfect block and the perfect home design that would fit their family like a glove.
Their plans were unfortunately put on hold when Luke lost his job. Although Luke found another job soon after, they required more savings to qualify for a home loan. Knowing they didn’t want to give up on their dream of home ownership, Chappy suggested My Home Plan.

The 2020 housing industry Government grants were announced just as Luke and Candice were given the go ahead to restart their building dreams. Good things come to those who wait, right?
